Gospel Music Showcase in Bellmead Sun. May 4

The Bellmead Lion’s Club will host their annual Gospel Music Showcase on Sunday, May 4 at the Bellmead Civic Center, 3900 Parrish St. A barbeque lunch will begin at noon followed by a concert of a 13 locally talented music groups from 12:30 - 3:30 pm. Tickets for the BBQ, catered by The Country Kitchen, and the gospel entertainment is $10. Pre-sale tickets will have reserve seating. Tickets will also be sold at the door. All proceeds go to scholarships for area graduating seniors and other local charities.

Gospel Music acts on the Sunday program include Charlie Burch, Kaley Caperton, Dale & Anita Allen, Kasie Meek, Cindi Miller, Mark & Kistin Maynard, Charles Thornal, Theresa Echols, Walking by Faith, Canaan Bound, Johnny & Cheryl Tucker, and Holly Tucker.

The Bellmead Lions Club meets each Thursday at noon at the Bellmead Civic Center. Visitors are welcome.
