A festival of gospel talent can be heard at ‘Gospel LIVE’ on Sun. Oct. 4 from 2-4 pm at the Phoenix Ballroom located at 401 S. 3rd Street in Waco benefiting the Talitha Koum Institute. Tickets are $25.

Keron Jackson, a Baylor music graduate, is a powerful bass-baritone singer with charisma as big as his voice. He returns to Waco to the delight of his many fans for this fund-raiser. Keron currently sings bass in The Dallas Opera, a world-class opera company. Many Wacoans remember Keron’s magnificent musical offering at the 2005 funeral of distinguished Waco Judge Bill Logue.

The Baylor University Heavenly Voices Gospel Choir will electrify this gospel event with their songs and movement. Performing in Central Texas for over 20 years, ‘Heavenly Voices’ delivers a high energy, spiritual, musical experience.

Central Texas teen-age sensational singer, Holly Tucker, will perform with her Tucker Family Trio. The Tuckers always give audiences a moving performance.

Cherry Boggess, a Waco soloist, will also perform.

Talitha Koum is one of the Cross Ties Ministries providing a Nurture Center located in the Kate Ross neighborhood of Waco that offers comprehensive care for families with young children including therapeutic nursery, parenting classes, family assistance counseling, a nurse/family partnership and a swimming pool.
